I was wondering why hasn't pSX Emulator got its own wiki page yet? I think deserves having one. Is anyone willing to start one up? I would myself but I'm not too good at stuff like that .

Like say en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PSX_emulator ? ;D If there is any false info or more info, go ahead and edit ruthelssly. I think I covered the basics, but I'm sure there is much more other people can add. Say, minimum system requirements for one. I decided to use pSX emulator as the full article name, because pSX (emulator) doesn't have a nice ring to it, and the main PSX page (wikipedia autocapitalizes first letter) is used for three letter acronym disambiguation.

Nicely done Herra ;D. Definately better than I would have done. Now since we have something to work with, I might add some stuff in there.

Yeah that is cool, I did check when I first got here and was surprised no page:)
Looking forward to the day it reads "And has now become the most compatible and stable PS1 emulator"

I was looking through wikipedia last night for different emulation related articles and a lot of them linked to pSX but it was a blank article. It's good that we finally have a wiki page for it now . Lol. It will say that one day.

I'm not signed up for Wiki, so would somebody mind editing the link to my site to just the main url http://psx.silvanthalas.com). That way they get the main page of the site and can view the old as well as current compatibility lists.

You actually don't need to have an account to edit pages.

Well, I've already gone through and edited a few small things that needed editing. I think... I will be doing a lot more editing soon (or adding, I guess I should say).
I would've started a wiki page a while ago, but I completely forgot about Wikipedia. Now that one is started, it is going to be grand (with my help and the help of anybody else).
Oh, and anybody who wants to edit it, just click the "edit this page" tab at the top of the page.
Edit: I have now added system requirements to the page, after looking through all the system specs that people contributed. If there are arguments about their accuracy, I think it'd be better if we discussed them here instead of people simply changing them on the wiki page (to avoid an edit-fight). Then once we sort it all out here, one of us can go and change it (if need be).
Here is what I listed as the minimum system requirements:
OS: Windows 98 (Windows 95 may cause a few problems) CPU: 750 MHz (higher-end Pentium III equivalent) Graphics: 16 MB video memory, DirectX9-compatible Sound: DirectX-compatible sound card CD-ROM: 2x read
Edit 2: Added another section to the wiki page. I think for now, I'll give it a rest. Maybe some other members here will have more to add.

I seemed to make a lot of it's vs its typos there. ;D
Just a note though, changing developement -> development is kind of silly. They are both correct.

There are no typos that I can see *anyplace* in the document (at least once I was done editing). When using a possessive form, pronouns do not get apostrophes. So you were correct the way you typed them. I changed "developement" because while it *can* be used, "development" is the more correct spelling. Many dictionaries won't even mention that other spelling, though some of them do simply for completeness. If you need proof, go to www.dictionary.com and type in both words. "Developement" will mention the alternate spelling of "development", but "development" will not give you an alternate spelling. That means that while "developement" could be used, it is not the primary, most common, or most accepted spelling. Don't worry about typos. I'll be keeping an eye on the wiki page to make sure it stays free of spelling and grammar mistakes.

Well, 'developement' would only be correct in the early use of the word as 'develope.' The modern root is 'develop,' so 'development' would be the only correct modern usage.
My copy of Chambers, which is generally accepted as the most authoritative single volume English dictionary, doesn't give 'developement.'

See?! Even patrickp knows! ... XD Don't worry, I'm not trying to gloat or anything... Just that despite how friendly I may be, I have trouble when people question my english skills, as they are in some ways unparalleled... people actually call me the human dictionary, encyclopedia, thesaurus, and spell-checker, all in one. I think maybe I'm over-rated a little bit, though... Especially since I don't always make an attempt to be grammatically correct.

@gamesoul Master: He had indeed put some "it's" instead of "its"... It wasn't there anymore when you first went there because I had already fixed it...
