You could always get the Action Replay Evo which can transfer save games from a ps1 and ps2 card plugged into your ps2 onto a USB drive (16mb one supplied) plugged into the ps2. Look it up on Amazon

Look it up on Amazon Sweet that seems to be a good product. So far i havn't found anything bad about it and lots of good I only wish my ps2 wasn't such a piece of #$^% and would actualy read any of my discs, ANY OF THEM!!!!!!!!! Id rather pay more for a damn cartridge than buy cd/dvds that won't work in a year either cus thier scratched up and/or cus the console is a POS. Im not playing another ps2 game until an emulator comes out that works and ill probobly have to download all the games i own because of scratched up media I had to do that with all my psx games On the plus side all of my cartridge games still work even with little brothers and sisters As you can probobly tell i hate consoles Theirs nothing worse than playing a multiplayer FPS game on the XBOX and having it slow down to about 1/2 the normal frame rate. And for the N64: the controllers wear out easily and the expansion packs make the thing prone to freezing/reseting if you lightly tap on the thing

if you don't have a ps2 or would prefer not to use one to transfer save states then i would pobobly still recommend the dex drive if not that Action Replay Evo looks pretty sweet

Look it up on Amazon I have this (or atleast some version of AR for PS2 that can transfer saved games), but it doesn't want to recognize my PSX memory card.
