- Improved ASPI and IoControl latency
- Added SPTI support
- Added support for 16bit rendering (including 565), only used if necessary
- Full screen mode configuration (NTSC and PAL configured separately)
- Fixed GTE bug that caused Valkyrie Profile to crash
- Improved streamed ADPCM audio (Valkyrie Profile and others)
Please be on the lookout for emulation regressions/improvements in this version. The fixes for Valkyrie Profile may affect other games (especially the GTE bug fix). Thanks!

Wow there goes my only other real gripe, that I had to run it in non-native resolutions for fullscreen and my LCD blurred it more than I would have liked...but now I can run at 1280x1024 synced to my LCD and flawlessly.
Thanks psxauthor!!!

btw: for people wanting to play Valkyrie Profile... it needs the -S option for sound to be completely correct.
I will look into this problem soon and hopefully remove the need for this option.

this emulator has more potential than any other psx emulator is existence. It emulates everything well but there are a few problems and isn't very stable (yet) although 1.2 made a huge differrence. Having frequent releases is a plus, considering most of the emulators out there that were just abandoned one day.
1.SUPPORT TO CHOOSE WHICH CD DRIVE TO LOAD FROM!! 2.It needs better support for loading games: iso/cue/bin etc 3.It has looping problems 4.It starts going realy fast while playing chrono cross, this was one of the only games i was able to run cus all my psx games discs are scratched up and this was the only bin/cue file i was able to load as all the other ones came up with a thing saying cd not usable, even though every other emulator read them just fine 5.And of courese better graphics but im sure that will happen soon enough

seems to work better with hyper threading turned off although alot of emulators are like that Go AMD!! they don't have that problem and their processors are faster tv-out doesn't seem to stable with this emu although the graphics are way better, most likely cus i got an lcd although its a decent model (very little ghosting/motion smere) its a VP191b 8ms d3dx9_26.dll-- this file i believe comes with the directx sdk developer package (300MB+ in size) You can always google a standalone exe package that extracts that file and other common files needed for games to work Donload link for d3dx9_26.dll: www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_26Just place it in your emulator folder and it should work

I love the authour of this emulator. Good work i wish i was talented enough to program my own emulator but im not any advice would be much appreciated: alaskancaveman@hotmail.com The sound is more accurate than on other emulators Fullscreen filtering would be a nice feature although texture filtering doesn't work to well for psx as it corrupts the textures PJ64 server dos hack: what a relief I thought maybe pj64 got abonded like most other emulators do www.emutalk.net/emu64-news/33603-server-currently-down-stay-tuned.html

I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping ccd support would be added by now. It's a prevalent format, and it's not exactly a huge job.

just rename your *.img file to *.bin and pSX will load it fine.
granted, the emu still don't use the subchannel data (*.sub) but this way you don't have to convert your clonecd image.
Anyway, thks to pSX emu author, that's a fine job...let's this promising emu got all his glory.

Thanks. But is there an option to turn off the stretch ? If no, it would be a nice addition to the next release.
A option to select the resolution, not only for the fullscreen mode, but also for the windowed mode, would be great too.

d3dx9_26.dll-- this file i believe comes with the directx sdk developer package (300MB+ in size) I would say the best place to get this DLL is in the DirectX End-User Runtimes (December 2005) Full Download - www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3f2828fa-0e3c-4837-afc0-6c67dcaa54bf&displaylang=en. This is the latest runtime for DirectX 9.0c, which includes all the extra d3dx9_*.dll files that Microsoft released last year with each DirectSDK increment. It's still 46.2Mb, but at least it installs everything, and makes sure your DirectX is up-to-date
