Well, eboots are a way to encapsulate a iso with compression (and run compressed), multidisc support into one file and that fine looking boot overhead with icons and the like. example:youtube.com/watch?v=1bdxA0c3f1QZodttd from PSX4ALL emulator plans on implementing support for it and it shouldn't be too hard so... Any chance it can be implemented into pSX? On other account and not knowing if it has been asked previously... But is there any chance you can ponder doing a Wii build of the emulator? Wii has a pretty big userbase, concerning the Xbox requests I've seen sknowledged in the FAQ... not only is it a living console, but it already has a bigger userbase than Xbox ever did. And the hack to run it is also done by a exploit, that contrary to xbox doesn't even involve messing with the HDD, so it's easy accessible to a lot more people. more information at: -> wiibrew.org/wiki/Main_PageAny chance this can be considered? Also, specs should allow it (even more if PSP can achieve full speed) and there's already people attempting PCSX ports: -> code.google.com/p/pcsxgc/But this emu would be so much better. Pretty please?

To the first request... We already have .cdz implementation, and I find it highly doubtful that pSX Author will want to spend a bunch of time adding another compression type when it's not really needed and there are many other things he wants to get done. Besides, you realize that if eboot support was added, it'd be an even larger mess of people complaining about not being able to get their games to work because of some faulty eboot compression with one of the various programs out there.
As for a Wii port... If that were to ever happen, it'd have to be a long way from now. We don't even have a Mac port yet, which is in much higher demand than a Wii port.

I see, I'd still like to see it though, but the way I see eboots, hackers have basically decoded all that, now... perhaps we can build up from that and beyond PSP eboots (as in bigger resolution, animated backdrops, BGM not in AT3 and in MP3 instead) If that happens that way (and would be sweet) I'd love to see it supported. But yeah, not exactly a feature we can't live without. As for a Wii port... If that were to ever happen, it'd have to be a long way from now. We don't even have a Mac port yet, which is in much higher demand than a Wii port. I understand. A Mac port would support the PowerPC macs though? If so perhaps doing so would make the work needed for a Wii port easier or am I wrong? I don't even know how hard such implementation would be though, so I might be taking it for easier than it is. Anyway, cheers, just wanted to say that I'm interested, and I'm sure more people are aswell. I love the emulator on my PC too

I would also like to say that this emulator is superb, and that a Wii port of this emulator would be divine.
