According to the readme, pSX only support linear interpolation for sound atm. However the sound resulted are of rather bad quality, so is there any plan on implementing the gaussian filter? (or unless PSX actually uses linear interpolation, in which case feel free to ignore me It would be really great to have this feature implemented. (even more so than a good filter for CRT emulation, for me at least)

As far as I know, pSX Author prioritized accuracy, so it may very well be that type of Interpolation.

I'm not sure if this is the cause, but many sound effects just don't sound right in pSX, like the static noise during FF7 battle swirl for instance.

Anywho, many sounds in FF7 are kinda weird. I remember that I talked about this many times in the past, but the Author said he never noticed this problem, so I just gave up.
