He guys, it's me, Stranger90, with a fresh new name. I'm waiting 2 (or 3) years for a new release of this fantastic emulator, but pSX Author's last post it's date back since 2009!!! What happened to him? He is really that busty that he can't even drop by to say hello? I know there are importants things beside writing a free emulator, but c'mon, would be nice for him to tell us if he really abandoned the project. In this years, once or twice every month I would lurk to see if the next pSX would have released, but NO, and it disappointes me. Now, after almost months I didn't lurk to this forum, I still see that the anonymous Author is missing. I hope one day he will decide to tell us more, what's going on and why he can't take a break from his job... that doesn't hurt. I still wanna to say. I liked to test games for this emulator, but now everything is gone, and I lost interesting in doing that... with my PS3 and my new hobby to trophy collection, pSX will be always one of the best PsOne I have used! Thank you, pSX Author

Who knows?!?
I think pSX is dead, but NOBODY knows the truth, other than the author himself.

Sad to say, I don't even have the desire to have an opinion on the topic at this point. These days, I have been reduced to being a lurker. Partly because we've answered just about every question a person could ask (usually more than once), and partly because people feel abandoned. I still love using pSX (definitely appreciate its superior multi-monitor support over certain other PS1 emulators, something I only recently had to worry about), and I miss these forums, and the people we've always had in them. A small part of me hopes that v1.14 will somehow see the light of day, and maybe then a small part of what we had years ago will be back. This place was the first place online where I actually felt like I was a part of something. As great as pSX itself is, I think even the forums here that were created for it, ended up being something great to many of us. Or maybe I'm just being too sentimental... lol. Where's patrickp to poke fun at me for my youthful ignorance?

I'm simply amazed that the forum still exists. It's been 18 months since I last bothered to update the compatibility list, and if not for the fact that I'm hosting some other stuff on my site, I would've taken it down long ago. pSX is dead (and will remain that way until pSX Author has his Second Coming), and I don't even feel like pulling out any games to play.

Heh, looking at the compatibility list brings back good memories... But the forums are not dead! In a couple of months or so, ouch will have more posts than Gamesoul Master (I mean it!)!

Too bad most people don't even pay attention to them.

I'm still amazed how many of you, my old buddies, are still here hoping to see someday pSX v1.14!
Serious, I want it too, like everybody else.
I'm so happy that this emulator existed, it was also the first emulator to play Vib Ribbon! It is a great achievement for pSX Author and for pSX itself.
If somebody else is on PSN, add me LoStraniero91. Miss those days I was just testing games for the sake of it, man, I want those old days back again!

Me and my brother enjoy the emulator so much, probably the best out there and still plays like a dream. I do pop in now and again to see, though it was over a year since my last visit. Must have also lost my other account for some reason.
If pSX Author is still out there, I wish him well and have my fingers crossed, whether the project is dead or not.
