For starters, you'd need a gameshark or actionreplay, and a pc comm link. That's all I can remember though. Here's a Google search to help you out.

I was wondering if you meant you found the ePSXe readme on Google, which explains how you would rip the BIOS from your PlayStation.

In that case, it's the same thing as listed in the FAQ, as I grabbed it directly from ePSXe's readme ;o

I wonder, has anyone heard of an alternative to dump a BIOS from a PSOne?

I wonder, has anyone heard of an alternative to dump a BIOS from a PSOne? Does 'PSOne' mean SCPH-100/101/102? Or just a PlayStation?

Extracting BIOS from SCPH-100/101/102 is not easy. As you know, both of parallel and serial ports are eliminated from them. If you can use the Modification-chip, it is not very difficult to execute a program to copy BIOS into memory card. Another idea is to attach ActionReplay/GameShark by force. nekokabu.s7.xrea.com/pio/pio.htmlSorry the site is in Japanese, but many pictures may help to understand what to do. More directly, you can desolder BIOS ROM from the board and read it, if you have enough skill.
