Not that many changes this time because I have been busy recently. The main new thing, I suppose, is that Legend of Legia is now fully working (the fixes for this game may well fix other games though). - Added screenshot feature
- Fixed GTE bug that caused graphical glitches in Legend of Legia
- Fixed minor CDROM emulation bug
- Adjusted GPU DMA timing to fix MDEC hangs in some games (Legend of Legia)
- Check mask bit for lines (fixes DragonWarrior 7 menus)
- Fixed spelling of "Quicksave" (yes, I suppose I am a "d u m b a s s"
- Use exe name for quicksaves (quicksaves are now per game)
- Changed key assignments for quicksave (F1-F5=load, F6-F10=save)
- Reset button for gamma/brightness/contrast in graphics dialog now works
- ESC now quits emulator (in addition to ALT+F4)
- Added DMA breakpoints
- Fixed some miscellaneous debugger bugs

Metal Slug is still broken at the exact same spot. Yeah - I have looked into this but I'm not sure what the problem is yet (I think it is GTE related though).

I wouldn't have said "Not that many changes this time" - in fact, there are more changes listed in the Readme than for any other update excepting 1.4. Additionally, these changes seem to go a long way towards making the emu straightforward and easy to use.
Seems to be running better and better. I notice the Escape key doesn't just drop you back to the emulator, as it does with other emulators, but completely terminates it.
A little quibble: the F10 key not only does a save state, but also drops you back (if you're in full screen) to windowed display and pauses - I guess the new function has been assigned to the key without removing the previous one. I think I'd prefer to have the save keys first, then the load keys, but that's a very minor (and completely personal) thing. Nevertheless, the save/load state process now seems to be on a very sound foundation.
Pity Wild Arms still doesn't show the participants in battle scenes - I'd really like to be able to play Wild Arms on this emu...

Well, the audio in the briefings in Colony Wars (U) no longer skips! (previously the framerate would drop down to 50fps during briefings but then a few versions ago it jumped up to ~55fps or so...now it's a solid 60) ....unfortunatly, there's no video at all during the briefings now, just the rock solid perfect audio Gameplay portion still runs flawlessly as far as I can tell (haven't played more than the first mission)

The main new thing, I suppose, is that Legend of Legia is now fully working (the fixes for this game may well fix other games though). You know, I don't even have the US version of that title on the compatibility list. At least the PAL copy loads in v1.5, since it wouldn't load in any previous version of pSX. And now I found out that I have the Spanish PAL copy, no less, so I still can't play the damn game. I'll also go ahead and update all entries for copyright protection, since you didn't mention any progress on that front.

Wow! It is sooner than I expected. In my last thread I'm asking if he will released a new version this weekend, and he just release it now. The rumble feature is working properly now. You're great pSX Author!

I've been playing the NTSC version (I'm about 60-70% of the way through now).

Still no XInput support Owning a 360 pad sucks I will try to add XInput support soon, but my 360 pad works fine with DirectInput... (minus the features the DI driver doesn't support, like rumble). The Y axis on the right pad needs reversing, but thats about it (in fact thats why I added the reverse tickboxes... I believe this is actually a bug in the DI driver though!).
