man i love his emulator. this is how emulation is ment to be. i dont see why people would want to play psx games at 1280x1024, i mean you dont see any of the snes emulators trying to do starfox in Direct3D or OpenGL. with that said, are there any plans for a much needed plugin-free non complicated n64 emulator?

A lot of people are attracted to emulators because it allows them to play their old games with better image quality, and that's why they like to run it at higher resolutions. A bunch of the SNES emulators have image filters, like HQ2X, so it's still along the same lines as running on OpenGL or Direct3D (where you can antialias and whatnot).
I'd expect that the dev probably won't be making a N64 emulator (or at the very least, not immediately), since he's still actively coding pSX (or using it to play games xD). Aside from that, he's working on PS2 emulation, so...

It is not wise to ask for N64 EMU! It is for PSX emulator only. GEEZ.

the author focus on PSX, so let's him doing what he want...after all theses years we still don't have the perfect PSX emulator, ePSXe is great but far from perfect and sometimes a pain to configure properly. we should do our best to support the author by testing and reporting what we can...
and, yes, a N64 emu would be a good thing, since this hardware would greatly benefit from a pSX-like emu (plugin and config free): actual N64 emulator are still far from what the psx emulation had came

Hello guys,
Actually I am working on an N64 emulator on and off... I'm not sure how far I'll get - it is a low-level emulator and a lot of details are nearly impossible to find (eg. exactly how do the Poly commands work on the rdp? - if anyone knows let me know!).
atm it boots zelda oot and the music plays (no gfx though due to above issue).
Not sure I'll ever finish it - I mainly concentrate on PS1 (and PS2).

If you are running it windowed: try disabling frame skipping (Config/Graphics).
If you are running it fullscreen (alt+enter) then I'm not sure...
I recommend using fullscreen - it runs much better then.

Yep! I will post it somewhere else with picture to see whats wrong. Vcdmount must be interrupting with it..lol. Anyway, keep up the good works. I hope they do not give you a pressure or stress to ask to add this and that.

That sounds like it is to do with CloneCD or CloneDVD (made by Elaborate Bytes), hence the name. Perhaps it is something to do with try to mount a CloneCD file as a virtual CDROM drive?

I think he should work on whatever he wants and dont need people telling him what to do with his life, ok I have read other sites where you are telling people not to request stuff when you have no say in what pSX Author does. Look at your karma rating and then you will see im not the only 1 who thinks this
