I love that 1.6 has support for more ISO types, but cdztool still only supports cue/bin. it would be great if it was made to work with CloneCD and ISO images. a batch converter would be great, too, but i'm fine making my own batch file if necessary. it's just a pain to convert to cue/bin, THEN convert to cdz.

Both cdztool and the built in converter support all supported image types (or at least they should - if something doesn't work its a bug).

I'm sorry...I didn't test it well enough. It does indeed work with CloneCD images, however, I have a single ISO (it's the only one i ripped as an ISO, so i have no others to test with) that will not convert. "City of the Lost Children, The [PAL] [SLES-00170].iso" is the name of the file. I tried renaming it to "City.iso" just incase it had a problem with commas or anything, but that wasn't it. I'll try converting it with UltraISO and see what happens then.
EDIT: After converting the ISO to CUE/BIN, it worked correctly. Can cdztool not convert ISOs?

I only had one to test also (my old Ogre Battle - Special Edition (SLUS_004.67) ISO that's been collecting digital dust), and it didn't work. Oh well, I don't use the tool, so it really doesn't matter. I keep thinking that if I convert my games, one of them might end up not working.

True. I guess I've just been lazy to wait for images to compress. That whole 1-2 minutes is killer, ya know... ? XD
Your phrasing is a little weird. I'm taking it that you're saying I could test the compressed image, and if it works I can erase the original, and if it doesn't work I can go back to using the original.

Got it in one, hoshikuzu. Can't see anything weird about my phrasing, though. Master of lucidity, me, if a little - er - long-winded at times... ;-)

Sorry. I sometimes get fanatical with structure and tone. No fault to you, just me being OCD-ish.

i just made a batch file and converted all of my images at once, then deleted the originals. if i run into an image that doesn't work, i just uncompress it. simple!

Yeah, I have Silent Hill.iso and it doesn't want to compress. Using the 1.8wip btw.
