Hello,
It seems like pSX only supports ALSA for the sound. Why not using a library like SDL or Gstreamer?

hmmm....wouldn't doing that increase sound latency? I've heard of people getting underruns with their latency as high as 60ms! IF oss is to be supported, wouldn't it be better to support it directly rather than through a wrapper?

Heh "as high as 60ms" latency? Mine goes up to 100ms+ sometimes Edit: zomg this isn't even a Bug Report...

it certainly would be much better if OSS could be used instead of ALSA. I'm using freebsd and the OSS is prefered there, and SDL would do too.

4Front should have an ALSA emulation layer in OSS.

To nyao, at least support oss and alsa would be better, but please don't ask to remove alsa to put oss. I understand your point of view, but linux users are very pleased with alsa
