While putting together a small pSX frontend I found myself wanting some additional command-line options and such;
* Start with a memory slot empty. Maybe I'm missing something but it would be nice if there was a command-line way to start with a slot empty/ejected.
* Should pSX remember memory cards? I mean, unless you only ever play one game chances are remembering the memory cards between runs isn't all that useful. This is especially true if you use a frontend since then you probably do not want to remember what cards was inserted.
* Pad mode for other ports than 0. Disable ports other than 0. To be honest I dont know how useful this would be but feels a bit weird that you can only control one port from the command-line.
* Don't forget gamepads. I have a USB gamepad and sometimes I start pSX without it being plugged in. If I want to use it I have to exit and restart pSX since pSX forgets about my pad the moment I start without it plugged in. It would be nice if pSX could remember the pad selection even if it's not plugged in.

You can simply edit the psx.ini directly if you want to "eject" a memory card. Remembering memory cards makes sense, considering the fact that it would a royal pain in the arse to have to load a memory card every time you restart the emulator.
I recall wanting a way to eject the memory card as well when making pSX Frontend, but the INI route was so much easier, and probably cleaner, since I could enter full paths rather than having to convert the stupid paths to 8.3 form.
