Final Fantasy VIII... I didn't do much testing, but the background during battle for when I first got outside of Balamb Garden was missing. Battle transition was screwed up too (probably a toughie, so I whatever). The FMVs slowed down often, but I'm not sure if that's just my computer that couldn't keep up. EXCELLENT work so far. I didn't have to do any real configuration (graphics wise) and the game was already running fairly well. Keep up the good work!

X-Men vs. Street Fighter... Running marvellously. Only problem is that the sides are cut off a bit... I'm not too sure by how much, though, since I don't have ePSXe or my PSX set up for reference to compare. CONSTANT 60 frames per second with no frame skipping is stunning =]

Er, I didn't mean stunning as in surprising, but just that it looks real nice. I haven't tried it in a long time on ePSXe, so I don't remember if it looks just as nice, but the last time I played this game was on PSX, and it was ugly in comparison xP Gran Turismo 2 (Arcade Disc)... It sure took a long time to get to the Main menu from bootup... constant XA thingy flashing at the bottom. (After testing it a second time, it booted up more quickly) Otherwise, working flawlessly, or at least from my limited testing. Game runs at around 60FPS constantly, and there doesn't appear to have been any graphical glitches whatsoever. Of course, I suck at driving, so I quit the game fairly early into it. I never tried it on the previous games I tested, so I don't know if it applies to them either, but when I pressed "Eject" while in a race, pSX crashed. The crash dump (not full) is here: rapidshare.de/files/12143894/psxfin.6f61.rar.html

Thanks for the crashdump.. athough I don't really recommend ejecting CDs while the game is reading them for obvious reasons I should be able to stop it crashing at least though

Lunar 1&2 both seem to work fine Legend of Dragoon worked fine (tested to the 1st battle) FF9 looks beautiful (tested past 1st battle) FF Origens (tested to the naming screen for FF1) Grandia looks great (tested to "find the stuff for Gantz") Thousand Arms looks great (tested to where you control) Hoshimi seems to work good Legend of Mana works good (tested to beginning) Rampage wouldn't load Breath of Fire IV looked great (tested to 2nd battle) Star Ocean 2 works great (tested past 1st battle) Wild Arms 2 Works great (tested to 1st battle) Suikoden II plays the music but no graphics and can't be started Saga Frontier has a lot of graphic problems, text dosn't refresh, missing textures, etc.

It would probably be better if we submitted a compatibility list like this: Name | Disc# | GameID | Region | Working? | Settings | Comments | Chrono Cross | Disc 2 | SLUS_010.80 | USA | Yes | Default Settings | Needs A Forced Vsync mode to work in fullscreen, else too fast. | Inu Yasha - A Feudal Fairy Tale | Disc 1 | SLUS_015.34 | USA | Yes, not playable | Default Settings | when entering battle, the game hangs on ROUND 1, you can move but not fight |
Template for adding games =
Name Disc# GameID Region Working? Settings pSX version Bios Comments
Metal Gear: soliton radar doesn't display frequencies (otherwise it's pretty darn good ) iirc (and I probably don't!!) this is due to how they render the frequency digits. I think they draw them _after_ they have changed display coordinates, but before the screen has been rastered to the display. Yep, they flip back buffer to front buffer, and then continue drawing to the front buffer PSX games a full of just plain weirdness

Lunar 1 : OK so far Ridge Racer 4 : OK Soul Reaver : video hanged on the eidos logo Wipeout (1 2 3): seems there are problems to read the ISO as there are audio tracks on the CD (works with ePSXe when I mount the ISO with daemon tools 3.47 with the option "analog audio" enabled)

Dragon Warrior 7 - problems with menu priorities, otherwise works fine, I think.
Valkyrie Profile - I had some strange pauses when starting the special attacks, and some farty speech samples. Dunno if it's just my CPU not keeping up with the emulation (frameskip disabled).
Shadow Madness - hangs after the first FMV.
Vib Ribbon - crashes after Sony logo.
Um Jammer Lammy - hangs at the stage loading screen (the song starts to play, but that's that).

Star Ocean 2 works fine. I plan on testing Lunar and Lunar 2 later and maybe Legend of Legaia.
