Game Title: Final Fantasy VII Game ID(s): SCUS_941.63 pSX Version(s): 1.11, 1.12 Perfect. Absolutely. [ Edit: At least from my basic observations. I didn't see any problems, but that doesn't mean there weren't any; they might all have simply slipped by me.] I'm not sure what to say about the current compatibility list's notes on how FMVs were reported to skip, as I never saw *any* skipping. The entire game ran absolutely perfectly, without a doubt. I'm don't recall whether I've ever actually beaten the game before, but I do know I never messed around with many of the side quests the previous times I played. Playing through the side quests made the game feel that much more fulfilling Ruby/Emerald WEAPONs weren't as hard as everyone makes them sound That said, I'm proud to have beaten them without GameShark *cough*W-Item bug FTW!*cough* xDAnd about this new topic: all previous threads on FF7 are version-, region-, or problem-specific. I'd rather create a clean, general thread for others to add onto later on. Tags: FFVII, FF7

Hi, to my FFVII emulation experience (both with ePSXe and pSX) I'd say that most of times any problem encountered while playing FMV sequences is due to bad readability of CD's, or to disk images being filled with errors if disks were ripped. --- Glad you beat the Weapons, Ultima. Here's the next task: try to have all materia go master... If you want some suggestion about best places where to earn the most XP/AP, go to the woods nearby Mideel. There you'll find monsters you can easily and quickly beat (with Slash-all materia and the like; also equip several mastered Enemy Lure to increase foe-engaging rate) and that will give you some 320 AP at best, if I'm not mistaken. If I think back to the ol' days when I spent hours to reach 99 level... I feel nostalgia. Another option is that of throwing an Elixir to those odd monsters in the crater, what was their name.. I can't remember, details of this great game have been rapidly vanishing from my memory in these many years.

Oh but I did master all of my materias I ended up with 3x Master Commands 3x Master Magic 2x Master Summons (even though I could've gotten a third one if I converted all my mastered summons) I didn't convert my remaining master summons because I used some of the individual summons for specialized reasons And the woods by Mideel were precisely where I trained. All of my characters reached level 99 just from training there... XD Edit: Er, I think I might've missed some of the minor materias, though, like Enemy Lure, some of the * Plus materias, Added Cut, or Sneak Attack. I would never need them, though, so it's okay for me And um, an exception to the "I mastered all of my materias" was the HP <-> MP materia; I didn't bother, as I never needed it, but I honestly can't see how hard it could be. Just stuff it on someone, and give someone else a mastered Cover (and er, some anti-sleep accessory, like Ribbon) and the person would never die while in the Mideel woods So I guess I didn't master all materas, but it was a "95% there" thing. I still spent a lot of time mastering my collection of materias 2 or 3 times over, so it's all good xD Oh, and selling mastered All materias FTW
