I noticed that whenever psX emulator is started the XPosition of the window is increased by 4 and the YPosition by 50 from the previous position of the window. This has the strange effect of slowly shifting the window down the screen unless it is dragged up.

If you use Ultima's Frontend, bobling, that will centre the pSX window when you open it each time.
I'm not sure this is a bug. I've noticed a number of Windows applications doing the same thing. My thought is that this may be default Windows behaviour, and it's only when an application specifies a position on starting that it always starts there.

Yeah, that's part of the reason (amongst others) that I really wish that a setting could be implemented for window position (at least a commandline option). It does get annoying when I don't use the frontend to see it do that.

In windows, all command prompt windows cascade. To stop this an keep it where you want. Right click pSX (exe or shortcut) and select properties. Move to the Layout Tab and uncheck the "Let system position window" option under "Window Position". It might vary because I'm using currently Vista.

Looks like you can get the command window to stay in the same place that way, but the actual pSX one still wanders...
