Whenever I go to a save game screen, or any screen that is not in game, my controller suddenly becomes very sensative. It is like it is set to auto. When you hold the button down, and it keeps pressing the button for you. I have to try and press the up/down buttons as easy as I can, just to get to the save/menu I want. It isn't the controller. It only does it in pSX. It is a Saitek P150. The controller only uses windows generic drivers. So I can't update them. (The site has no download for them.) Since it only occurs on the save menu, it isn't very annoying. It is just bothersome when you try to save.

IIRC this problem has been around pretty much since the emulator was first released, brokencd. It's not necessarily only non-game screens, it can be any menu display. Updating drivers etc. probably won't help, it is something that needs to be fixed in the emulator, I think.
And no, ZeXr0, it doesn't occur in specific games, although the menus in some games do seem to a lot more susceptible than others.

I've noticed Legend of Legaia is definitely one of the afflicted games, and I've seen it in a few others as well. It's definitely something in how the emulator handles controller reading on low-CPU-intensive scenes, I think.
(P.S. I live! Rhar. RL has been a bit of a pain lately, thus my only infrequent forum visits for the last few weeks..)

Yeah, try loading a game with RPG Maker that has password protection! Since the password depends on button entries, you have to be extremely careful trying to enter it.

Happens for keyboard buttons too, so i would say it's somewhere in the emulator code

Ahh... now *that* is the kind of information I like to hear. Solid evidence of where the problem is coming from. Now, maybe we'll finally see a fix for this problem.
