"A buffer overflow is an anomalous condition where a process attempts to store data beyond the boundaries of a fixed length buffer. The result is that the extra data overwrites adjacent memory locations. Are you sure it doesn't say "cdda buffer underflow"? (not overflow)
Anyway... that error message was removed in v1.8 - which version are you running? (current version is v1.9).
