Heh this isn't so much a problem with me not knowing what to do with wnaspi32.dll, but more like a case of pSX using the incorrect language for the error dialog. I would normally not have come across this error, but I removed wnaspi32.dll for some testing and noticed this error dialog when loading a game directly from disc... (note that I use English): Edit: And yeah, I forced pSX to use ASPI instead of allowing auto-detect.

LOL... that's good for a laugh or two.
But seriously... I guess a function or two got crossed, eh? I'm tempted now to see if the problem occurs anyplace else...

I would guess this is a result of the main change in 1.10, the inclusion of different languages. Something had to slip up somewhere!

This is a bug that happens for two of the error dialogs - the message is actually garbage (not the wrong language). This will be fixed in the next version.

Indeed, looked like garbage to me (after all, I can't see an arrow or an O with a hat thingy being considered Chinese/Japanese ).

I thought they might be characters used for I/O...?

@psx Author: I just noticed the same bug with the "File not found" error popup... I presume that's the other dialog you were referring to, but I thought I'd post this here just to be sure (in case it isn't the same dialog you were referring to).
