I'm sorry, I'm sure this is a very stupid question, but I've never used a psx emulator before and how exactly do you setup the memory card to save your games? Thanks

File > Configuration > Memory cards > Slot 1 or Slot 2 (it doesn't really matter) > ... > Select a filename for the memory card > Open > OK

I tried doing this but when I try to save in game, the process fails. Is there a memory card file that I need to download somewhere? Or am I just doing something wrong? Actually, in the steps you described, there was no "Open" for choosing a filename for the memory card, I just typed in a random name for the card.

What file extension do i have to give to a new mem card??? I think you should update the README file with more specific guide to setup a memory card. I can play ok with the savestates but there few things where memory card is essential so i need to know Exactly how to set them up. Thank You For Great and easy emulator. ;D

You don't need to specify an extension - the emulator will always correct it to .bin.

Then i am plain stupid cause i can't get em to work. ;D Could you give me an "specific" example what to do. It was so brief in the readme. EDIT: Did it! Okay I created first a text file card1.txt then changed the extension to .bin then set that file as memcard 1 in Configuration. Attempted to save in chrono cross. No bonus. BUT i kept hitting save until it offered to format the memory card. NOW it works! ;D yay, damn i'm good (duke nukem quote)

That should work, or you can click on the "..." button to get a file requester.
Try inserting the card before booting the game, some games don't like it if you insert a card while running.

I noticed the whole emu needs to be rebooted before any configuration changes take place. I Always Reboot the emu if i change settings and i never change settings while game is on. The emu is still quite sensitive, Crashes easily if you do stuff while running a game. Simply moving the window while running MAY crash it. Well, Anyhow the memory card prob is now sorted for me. [glow=red,2,300]But like i mentioned i didn't get well enough info from the readme so had to come here.[/glow]
