In older versions I had no problem configuring my gamepad xbox 360 but in this new release (with a new set of great features) I have troubles trying to configure it... basically it's with the analog sticks... I have to try so many times to make it recognize the correct axies However when I successfully set them, the emulator works good. I repeat this is a issue i did not have in previous versions... great work... it gradually becomes my emulator of choice!!

lol maybe the emulator got desensitized with the recent controller dialog changes... Mm, what do you have to do to get it to "work"? Have you tried messing with your controller deadzone settings in the driver?

thanks for answering...
uhm... no, I have no tried to configure my gamepad deadzones.... as I said... It works pretty fine with the older versions and it works fine too with others emulators and games...
What I do to make it work is simple I open pSX emulator control dialog and try to configure axis X... but the axis that appear is Y... but if I try it 20 times for example 1 one the finally appear X axis... I know it must be analog sensitivity but why it has changed since previous versions?? weird uhh??... Did I mention that in game (when finally well configured) it works fine?? it's just in the config dialong the problem i think...

Does your driver allow you to recalibrate the controller? If so, do try that. Additionally, do try messing with the deadzone settings just to be sure. What drivers are you using?

yes I can configure the control and theoretically I can change the deadzones values...
the driver for my xbox 360 gamepad is not the official... this is the "XBCD - XBox Controller Driver 1.07", this is a custom and better driver that let the gamepad use the directx "force feedback" instead of the new rumble interface that came with the gamepad.
thanks for reply

Er... You say you can do those things, but have you actually tried...?

Ditto for me, too, netux.
I use a PS2 controller via the SmartJoy Plus accessory and I've never had a problem configuring the axis settings until the 1.11 version. And you're right -- it isn't consistent, either. Sometimes it reads the same motion as the X axis, sometimes the Y. Odd.
I'm sure Author will get it all figured out. Amazing EMU!

Yes, I really expect the author checks this someday... I will be nice but I'm not so worried about this because at least in-game analog controls movements are right?? not a top priority... tcabot: do you have problems with the analog controls in-game??
