This is an odd bug: when I enter in full screen mode... and after I return to window mode... well! I can't explaine with a good english, so an image can help you!! img237.imageshack.us/img237/1337/fullscreenbugxz6.jpgIt looks like the menu bar and the other control (minimize, exit, ecc...) are missing!!!! You must minimize the emulator and so return to window mode for show the bar!!!

What operating system are you using, stranger90 - in fact, what are your system specs?
Can you post a screenshot of your Graphics configuation tab?

This happens to me, too. When the window is not in focus you can see the controls peeking out from the top of the display canvas, and minimizing and subsequently restoring the window seems to fix it. 's very strange.

Can you answer the same questions I asked stranger90 as well, please, jking?

Used to get this issue on my W98SE box, but with more recent versions of the emulator, it doesn't seem to happen any more. I thought it must be a W98/resources (Athlon 1400+ XP/Rage Fury Pro/512MB RAM) thing , but maybe not. Has this only happened with v1.11/1.12 WIP, Sune - and stranger90 and jking? If so, I'm wondering whether it might be linked to not setting a default (i.e. leaving it at Auto) for Aspect ratio in Graphics configuration? This seems to cause crashes with the -f switch.

Nope, setting it to 4:3 doesn't help.
I don't remember having this issue with 1.11.

Well, the WIP that's available now still seems to be the same one for v1.12 that pSX Author posted shortly after issuing v1.11, Sune, and AFAIK the only change in that was to correct a problem with the 5:4 Aspect ratio setting - are you using the 5:4 setting? That's the only difference there should be between v1.11 and the v1.12 WIP, I think. Then of course, there's always kinghanco's solution to the problem he had with the -f switch a little while ago - he pushed the videocard into its slot properly... Edit: of course you're not using a 5:4 setting, Sune - you mentioned setting it to 4:3. You could try making sure your videocard is properly seated!

I have a problem with switching to windowed mode too. When I try and return to windowed mode from fullscreen with pSX 1.11, it doesn't return.. it just refreshes the screen to a different aspect ratio. Using version 1.10 or lower, I have no such problem.

Hm. It would seem maybe there's a problem in pSX 1.11 around changing between full screen and windowed modes. Could have something to do with the Aspect ratio selection is my guess. But since I haven't seen the problem myself (I've been mostly playing in Linux rather than Windows) -

I won't use any wips because those aren't official release stable version. I'm refuse to use those. There are some things might be broken in wips anyway.
