Hi there. I have a problem with the game Legend of Dragoon. There's no way, not at all, to see the videos, all I see a black screen and some strange noises. I have the same problem with Chrono Trigger (playstation version). In Chrono trigger, also, once a video starts, the game freezes. And in Legend of Dragoon, I reach the end of disc 1 and there's no way I can access to disc 2, the emulator doesn't recognizes it. I have a version of Legend of Dragoon that has a NTSC-PAL selector at the start of the game. Does somebody knows what's going on?

It seems we have a whole *group* of people who can't read... Look around the forums a bit and don't post again until you read everything you're supposed to read.

You're right about the Legend of Dragoon Issue, sorry . But the problem with the videos, in the Legend of Dragoon and in the Chrono trigger no one else have it. Could it be my computer? I have a an AMD Duron 1,2 GHz, 224 MB R.A.M., Video card onboard SIS 630, and I'm using both Windows 98 and XP with SP2. The problem is the same in both windows. In version 1.8 I could made the Chrono trigger perfectly, but I still can't see the videos, the same with Legend of Dragoon.

By the way, I've read almost EVERY thread in the bug forum, and NO ONE has this problem, nor anything like it.

I know it hasn't been mentioned... I was referring to providing more information.
Have you tried event rescheduling (-r)? Have you tried using a PAL BIOS? Have you tried a different patch? Have you tried making a savestate while using the patch, then running the game unpatched with the savestate right away? Have you tried older versions of the emulator (like v1.4)?

Actually, I've noticed something similar in Chrono Trigger: the movies play Ok, but the sound is very choppy. It's Ok in windowed mode, though, and once you've been in windowed mode, the movie sound carries on playing fine if you change back to fullscreen. I'm not sure, but I think it's the last couple of versions of pSX it's been like that. Will have to check it if I get time... It seems you've already started a previous thread with this problem, matthewchrono, so saying that is not exactly reasonable. You should have added any new comments you have there. Creating a new thread for an old problem means that the forum gets choked up with unnecessary threads, and also people with comments to make will have a problem knowing where to put them.
