Okay i have not seen this anywhere before, and it shouldnt matter really but nostalgia is kicking in.
When loading a game in a original psx the following happens:
Bios loading screen shows up, plays a jingle, meanwhile psx finds the disc, and the jingle moves on into the sony logo and then fades out.
When loading a game in pSX emulator however the sound is cut off, the last 3 seconds of the bios/bootdisc sound seem missing?
to compare the effect, -boot a real psx with a game in the drive. -make sure Psx emulator has an image/disc appointed before the bios loading screen has passed.

I think this has been brought up before. IIRC, the reason for this was because most computers are more powerful than the real PlayStation. So it finishes loading up quicker than the real PlayStation.
