I saw a thread posted previously about this issue, but it's subsequently been locked. I've also checked out the FAQ, but didn't seem to find this issue.
When I try to configure my controls, I'm unable to freely choose A, B, C, or D as choices. The previous thread seemed to indicate that this problem could be circumvented. I've tried changing the controls manually in the configuration settings file, but I don't know how to find the key numbers in the same format as is given there.
I apologize if this is a frequently asked question, but I've done some looking, and I'm still coming up short.
Thanks for your help.

After having searched around more, it seems that this is a known problem with v1.11.
So for other people having this problem, the solution is to manually change the keys in the psx config file:
#define DIK_A 0x1E // decimal value: 30 #define DIK_B 0x30 // decimal value: 48 #define DIK_C 0x2E // decimal value: 46 #define DIK_D 0x20 // decimal value: 32
That is to say, for key A, the key value will be 30. B=48 C=46 D=32.

What version of the emulator are you using? It seems it's been fixed with this WIP release.
