This emulator really needs some kind of built-in graphics enhancer or OpenGL renderer or whatever. Graphics look like crap compared to ePSXe emulator with Pete's OpenGL driver plugin.
Also, you really should think about releasing the source code. Sure we all know that you are doing just fine on your own. But the more the merrier. This maybe means updates at faster pace and all those "possible" list suggestions will see the the light of day sooner...etc.
Just do it!
Cheers

Enhancement: psxemulator.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=1153769834#1153770052Open source: psxemulator.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=rules&action=display&thread=1153769834#1153770470Way to miss the FAQ. I honestly don't mean to sound aggressive/mean/whatever here, but we shouldn't need to go over this with every single open source or graphical enhancement junkie out there. Since you seem to have seen the Known Requests thread, I'm not sure why you're still creating this thread. Enhancement isn't the point of the emulator, and comparing it with Pete's OpenGL plugin is like comparing apples with oranges. If pSX Author ever feels the time is right to open the source, he will. More people telling him to do so won't make him do it any faster, as he's already well aware of the request. Opening the source doesn't magically introduce increased development speed or uberness. I've nothing against open source, and like it as much as the next person (really -- I use open source software too), but I just wish people would stop thinking of open source as some kind of holy grail of software development. As for the assessment of both requests: pSX Author still hasn't expressed any interest in either idea, at least not for the immediate future. When he does, he'll tell us. Regardless, it's in the Known Requests thread and FAQ, and they answer the requests quite sufficiently, so Archive it is!
