If you enable VSync in fullscreen, pSX then runs games @ 50fps but American (U) games run @60fps.
So how can you get rid of screen tearing and have (U) games running @60fps? If I enable VSync and skip frames that works but the game runs choppy.
Any ideas folks?
Thanks all.
MY Graphics card is a Nvidia 7600GT 256meg (latest official driver).

Pick a resolution for NTSC games manually.

I don't understand. Resolution? Most games run at 640 x 480 but i dont see how that will stop tearing on the screen...

Pick the resolution manually in pSX's configuration menu.
Default is 'auto'. The emulator stretches the image to fit.
This becomes useful if you have an LCD monitor, then you can run pSX at your monitors native res to avoid the monitor stretching and filtering the hell out of your games.
