I already posted this but it got shutdown by admin because he thinks I am doing something dumb. I DID NOT ILLEGALLY DOWNLOAD MY GAME! I have Final Fantasy Tactics for playstation one, on disc. I just cant play it because my playstation 2 broke. I let my friend borrow the game, and he put it on his computer (somehow that I dont know) and then sent me files. I don't know how to put a game on the computer or anything like that, and i dont even really know what to do with the files he sent me. All I do know is that he sent me to zipped files, which are part 1 and part 2. I unzip them and they each come out with the exact same file names. There are three files and they are named FINAL FANTASY TACTICS.sub, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS.bin, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS.ccd. I actually got the game to start rinning with PSX v 1.13 but what i dont want happening is for it to mess up halfway through. I don't understand why there are two bin files. It is only a single cd game, so will someone please explain to me what i do with the 2nd bin file or whatever. Please and thankyou!
and so please dont block this thread because I DID NOT DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL!

In the earlier thread you said you "downloaded the rom". Downloading a game is illegal, regardless of whether you actually own the physical copy or not. I'm willing to bet that it's too late to come up with excuses. And for further reference by the way, CD games are not called roms. Roms are cartridge games. The word you need is CD-image. If you indeed own the physical copy, you can insert it to your computers cd drive and play it from there, pSX can use it like that. Alternately you can also rip the game to cd-image, read this thread for some help. psxemulator.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&thread=1147029950

ok, well i didnt know that ppl were going to not help me because i said downloaded. i just didnt wanna type out my entire story. and as from roms and cd-images. i seriously know almst nothing about this stuff. all i wanna do is play my game, and if i can get my buddy to do whatever he did to my other games, i wanna play those too. when i put the final fantasy tactics cd into my laptop, it just shows an empty folder, which i dunno if i gotta do something or not to make it show the files in it or what. all i wanna do is play my game, but i have to bin files and just want to know if i only need one of them, or if i somehow combine them, or if later in the game it will ask me to open up the 2nd bin file or what. i dun wanna get half way through the game and have an error come up because i used the wrong bin file or something and have to start all over again.

Hey, I've got an idea - why don't you talk to your buddy about it, he seems to know what he's doing!
Maybe he compressed the game into two archives. Try extracting one of them without the other archive present. If winzip or winrar or whatever program you're using asks you for the other part, then you'll know it's a multipart archive, and there's nothing to worry about.
I would definitely contact your friend and ask him about it.
If you want to use the original CD just stick it in your optical drive and start the emulator. Then use "insert CD drive" on the file menu to run the game. Just point it to your drive, the emulator will do the rest. There's no need to faff around with folders or files or anything to run a game from disc.

Absolutely, Sune.
If you have the game, randythacker, you should have no problems playing it. Downloading a Playstation game is illegal in most countries, most specifically the US, where this forum is hosted (and hence has to abide by the laws of the US), whether you own the game or not.
You've already been warned about this and still persist in saying you've downloaded the game. In most responsible emulation forums, this would get you permanently banned. As it is, one week's ban - come back when you've thought about it and decided to behave.
