Legend of Dragoon error! Please help!

I'm playing a ROM of Legend of Dragoon on pSX 1.13.

After the battle at the Marshland, I encountered some enemies. But my characters and the monsters just kept staring at each other without being able to issue commands.

I reloaded, but the problem persists. I downloaded another ROM and reloaded from there, but still no luck.

Please help!

You should have read some of the forum documentation before posting, elgambito, particularly

As with most responsible forums, you won't receive help here for illegally downloaded games. Even if downloading games wasn't illegal, we probably still wouldn't support them, because the single common reason why downloaded games don't work is because they've been carelessly ripped - why would the bozos who post them care?

And most Playstation games - certainly Legend of Dragoon - can be easily and cheaply bought from ebay and Amazon - sometimes from local shops as well.

What's the point of illegally downloading a game that probably won't work, when you can get it legally and, if you want to rip it, make sure it's properly ripped?

I suggest you read the forum documentation before posting again, particularly the Forum Rules and Things to Remember when Posting Reports. All of these, as the Global Announcement is, are clearly linked at the top of every page in the forum. There's no excuse for having ignored them. Any more posts like this, and you'll be banned.
