Hmm.... MDF/MDS files are used by Alcohol 120%, I imagine that you use that programme to come up with those files, what you can do is mount the image onto an Alcohol virtual drive.
Theoretically this should work, but anyway, with a mounted image on a virtual drive, use another image creator to make the bin/cue/whatever else off that virtual drive. I don't see why that shouldn't work

You also can use CDRWIN with this MDF/MDS..all you need is daemon tool to mount it then go to CDRWIN to rip it into BIN/CUE because since you mount it with daemon tool and cdrwin thinks it's CD already so you can rip it into bin/cue. I did and its perfectly.

UltraISO will convert them directly without having to go through the trouble of mounting and ripping like rockmangames suggested.

Yeah but trouble of mounting and ripping ? I did it under 15 seconds and I am all set. I was newbies for it and I am telling you ...it is so easily, lol. But UltraISO can be done I guess.

Are we talking about CastlevaniaSOTN? If so i dont think it's a problem with UltraISO. The first copy of the game i downloaded crashed like you describe. I found a different copy, converted with UltraISO, that seems to work fine.

Tell me, why would you even WANT to convert mdf ? Daemon Tools mount whatever image format possible. Why convert ?!! What is the reason so serious ?

We want to convert because loading mounted images in pSX doesn't seem to work, at least on the few i've tried.

I suggest you make it into bin/cue then use CDmage to scan it to see if anything is error and hopefully it will repair in 100% and try again.

when you are using ultraiso to convert from mds/mdf to bin/cue you need to mount the mds/mdf first and then rip it with ultraiso into bin/cue format
the conversion util will just NOT work and gives the same problem with the white screen as you are describing.

Same thing for CDRWIN too, gtmomo.

yeah that's cool and all, but my point was that if you use the conversion utility you hang at the white sony screen. you didn't mention that.
