Ugh... the very concept behind the movie almost makes me sick. Simply because of how horrible ideas are becoming these days for movies. I will *never* watch this movie. I can make fun of it from a distance.

Well I read an article on that movie, and it seems to be a "Serie B" movie. It is said, the kind of movie you watch a saturday afternoon with friend and that you just enjoy. Something like that.

I actually rather liked Ultraviolet. The only complaint I had about it was that the fight scenes became a bit too repetitive after a while...

I've just read in this website (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0370032/trivia) that the ultraviolet film that we saw wasn't the one the director wanted, the studio edited and changed many things in the final release =( does anyone know if this is true?

Well all in all studios can only edit as much as there is material to cut from. Besides, this is true in most Hollywood films in general, producers have too much power over artistic matters. And then we will later see a director's cut because of this. Of course, it's all about money. What better way to make dough then to sell the same film twice.
