Right now I'm liking the Creative Zen Vision W, as for the Archoses suggest one similar to the Zen Vision W.
As for what about each, google it. (I'm too lazy to link to anything.)
Oh if you have any reasoning on your vote, do share in a post.

Do you *really* need a 4.3" screen...? Choosing between the Zens, the Zen Vision: M 60GB should be more than enough for your needs. My friend just bought it, and it seems pretty tight. Myself... I'm perfectly content with my iPod Nano 2GB. Even as a music fanatic, 600-700 songs at any given time is more than enough for me...
After looking through everything, I have to vote for the ARCHOS 504 80GB. Looks like the best deal in terms of quality, specs, and price. Very nice-looking piece of hardware. It seems superior in just about every way to the Zen Vision W 60GB of the same price...

I haven't payed too much attention to portable media players, so I can't really say anything specific. But from past experience, Creative has always delivered a decent working product for me regardless, so those two would be the ones I'd look closely. Also, I have Creative Zen Nano Plus mp3 player and Creative EP-380 clip-on headphones, and they both rock.

Headphones... in terms of earbud-style (which is the only style I use), I'd been using Sony for about 6 years, because no matter where I looked, they were the best pair, in terms of volume and frequency range. I have to be able to set my portable music device at the highest volume and not hear distortion... and the Sony's were the only ones that could do it. That is... until I found ones by Sennheiser. Not only can they output a higher volume without any kind of distortion, but the quality in general is just so much better. I normally don't put out a lot of money if I don't have to, but after merely reading the specs on the package, I slapped down $70 instantly for them. And I wasn't disappointed. I'm pretty sure I'll never be buying any other brand of headphones again. They also have the regular looking headphones for about the same price, and those have even *better* specs than the earbud ones. I honestly can't recommend any other brand for headphones except Sennheiser.
I looked and asked around a bit more, and my vote still stands for the ARCHOS 504 80GB.

Of course, Sennheiser is the brand when it comes to headphones of any kind (I have Sennheiser HD 555 as my main headphones), but sadly aren't as widely available as Creatives are. Atleast not here. Also, I've never found an earbud style that would fit me. I think I have weird ears. ;D Which is why I have clip-ons as portable headphones.
But I'm derailing this thread!

Don't tell me - those things you're holding are your headphones, Mika? ;D
