Ok I had a problem with Alcohol 52%. I went to IsoBuster same problem. But CloneCD got it rip once again. Greatest Hits - Reel Fishing SLUS-00440.
This cd have a full protection.
I want everyone know that when a program or two can't rip a psx cd fully then try a different one.
I may keep all these programs install for now on. Just for backup.

Have a look in the CloneCD forums, kinghanco. You should be able to find profiles for download - these are optimisations for CloneCD for particular ripping situations. For instance, most copy protected PAL Playstation games use LibCrypt: there are a couple of LibCrypt profiles you can get.

PlayStation - LibCrypt * Read Speed: Max * Read SubChannel Data from Data Tracks * Read Speed Audio: Max * Audio Extraction Quality: Bad <- I have no idea why they pick that. Can you tell me this is the best way to go? * Don't Repair SubChannel Data * Always Close Last Session I will show you the settings that I have it set on. If you see anything that I need to change then let me know.

I haven't bothered with modifying any of my Profile settings, kinghanco. However, it can be helpful to rip at slower speeds for optimum results - there's actually an 8x LibCrypt Profile, as well.

I would *never* rip a game any faster than 16x... that is my absolute maximum, though I stick to 8x as a general rule for my DVD+-RW burning drive. kinghanco: Can you please put each of those screenshots on their own "line", so that they don't make the whole window too wide?

So I need to set the read speed to 8x? Ok I will change that. Done on the snapshots.

Thanks for the fix.
Yeah, some people say that you have to rip a game at 1x or 2x for good results, but that is really overkill, and not needed with the drives we have these days. I've ripped tons of games at 8x, and I never had any problems with that speed. The few times that I had a problem, ripping it at 1x didn't help either. So really... 8x is the best choice I'd say, unless you have an extremely old drive (like... pre-2000, and even many of those can handle ripping PS1 games at 8x just fine).

TBH I usually just let CloneCD rip at whatever speed it wants to. I think the drive makes a lot of difference. Quite apart from makes and models, -RW dives usually seem to rip better than -ROM drives.
When I have problems ripping a CD, I usually go to my old Plextor CD-RW in my W98SE machine - that'll rip flyshit. If that won't rip a disk, I know it's time to bin it...
Edit: but, as I said, going to 8x is a good idea if you're having problems.
