Yeah, CDmage has been around for the longest time now, and I can remember using it more than 5 or 6 (?) years ago. Useful tool indeed (for me at the time anyway), but IINM, the errors reported by CDmage should be taken with a grain of salt, as some "errors" are intentionally added to the game by the developers.

Eh? Unless you know for sure which game is supposed to have what errors, then by "repairing" images with CDmage, you run the risk of actually damaging the image. Again, some disc images seem to have errors, but those errors are intentionally put in there by the game developer.
In short, unless you know what you're doing, you shouldn't be using CDmage's sector repair feature.

Ok. I won't use CDmage then. Thought it is a good tool for repairing sectors. lol
Maybe it a bad tool and we shouldn't be using it.

It's not that it's a bad tool, it's just an application that should neither be taken lightly nor used without exercising caution (and for the most part, knowledge of what you're doing). As far as I can tell, CDmage is still useful to many people.
I personally never actually made much use of it beyond whatever I used it for many years ago (lol I can't remember). Even then, I was at the mercy of a more knowledgable user's instructions :\
