Hi, I have been using this emulator for a couple days and i cannot figure out how to get the thing to read .img files.
It works properly with my .bin games, but any game in the .img format doesnt work at all. When i convert the .img files to ISO, then to bin they still dont work. Is there any way to get the emulator to recognize .img extensions like the ePSXe does?

mount the .img file in any emulation software and use ultraiso to rip the mounted image to bin/cue
i did that for almost all of my isos which were in a diff format and it worked perfectly
to save space use the cdztool after you're done with the conversion

Not for now; it'll only recognize .bin/.cue images. People are suggesting MagicISO, ISOBuster, UltraISO or CDRWin for creating the image files - results may vary, so choose one and test (starting from CDRWin, I'd say).

best thing you can do is get a copy of daemon's tools, or alcohol 120% to mount the image.

since version 1.2, you don't need anymore to convert your image.
just mount it with a tool like daemon tools, and use pSX with the direct cd read.
anyway, ther's no need to convert *.img to *.bin : just rename you *.img to *.bin, and psx will load it without any problem.

Sadly, even with daemon tool, the emulator can not handle the subchannel data of european games. Still, this emulator is awesome.
