He hasn't logged in for exactly 6 months now. Not sure about you guys, but don't you think that even if his life became extremely busy, he would've logged in at some point in the last 6 months to at least let us know?
I'm starting to think that something bad happened to him, for him to suddenly be silent for all this time... :`(

Maybe he got bored of all this, or scared... Believe-me, anything can happen! I've seen (quite recently actually) an emu author leaving the emu scene because he was scared of what Nintendo could do with him!! Spell "naive" please! This is quite common... Martin (author of No$GBA) disapeared without saying goodbye too. People are still waiting for an answer, but no one has any clue if the emu is still alive!

I hear he's active on IRC somewhere, but I do not wish to bother tracking him down that way. Quoting my other post: Just got done talking with pSX Author, and he mention that the next release could be before or after the start of the new year. Also he said something about the Mac OS in regards of pSX, but I forget what he said exactly. I guess I need to fix my forum Icons before he shows up again, and yes he's not dead.

@truth Unknown: Thank you very much for the news. I wasn't even so concerned about pSX anymore, but rather about his extremely long-term silence. Glad to hear he's still alive and kicking... psicomaniaco: Afraid of Nintendo? You wouldn't happen to be talking about the (not so much) coder, NHervé, are you? And yeah, I realize that some leave the scene rather suddenly, but pSX Author doesn't seem like the kind of person who would be afraid of saying he's gonna be gone for a long while.

wonder what he said about the macos version. bootcamp is a good solution, but a port would be perfect. but if it doesn't work out, it's ok.
but what about the next release close to the beginning of the year? it's almost 3 months later now. don't get me wrong, psx runs great as it is, and i've never had any issues with any game i wanted to tryout (except when it were the images, that had flaws) but i'm a sucker for new features in an emulator when it takes so much time between releases. and i'm also curious how ps2 emulation is progressing.

It's also 8 months to this day since the last post on the ZiNc forum. Nothing has been said about Konami System 573 games, even more strangely, not even Soul Calibur or Tekken Tag has been discussed.

I think I figured out who pSX author is. Just a guess but its a educated one. www.ruffiangames.com/main/person/4I could explain how I arrived at this person if someone is interested.

I don't know nor care who he is. In fact, I don't even believe you have any real trail leading to him. But I don't think you should post anything about who (you think) he really is. pSX is anonymous for some reason, and we should respect that. IF he (ever) comes here and says who he is, great. But until then, I think we should respect his privacy (or anonymity). For us, he should only be known as pSX Author.
