Hi at all,
I've a little question for all of you.
I have an image of 007 Racing[PAL] SLES_03355. This image is a backup of my Original (but lost) PSX game... But I want to play with this CD and my original PSX, with the Breaker Pro Switch CD. Before burning thousands of CD-ROM to have cd-freesby for my dog, I prefer to test my Cd with Breaker Pro through an emulator.
So, this Iso works fine with ePSXe if you load it through File->Run ISO.
Instead, if you try to mount this image on a Virtual CD like Daemon Tools, and go to File->Run CDROM this game not work properly.
So, I have make some test. If you mount this image with Alcohol 120%, and then go to File->Run CDROM the game starts properly. So...
I see the Light!!!
I've mount this image with Alcohol 120%, then I've made the CloneCD image from this virtual unit.
Then I've mount the new image into Daemon Tools and I've start with ePSXe, using menu File-->Run CDROM. The game works fine.
The problem is with Breaker Pro. I usually use PCSX because it can show a Console Output (very useful).
When I start the 007 Game (alone, without Breaker Pro), even with the virtual unit of alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools, the game starts properly (with the function File->Run CD through BIOS). After reading the SYSTEM.CNF file, it starts the KERNEL SETUP!
With the Breaker Pro, the Kernel Setup starts with this CD (and not after the boot of SYSTEM.CNF). When I swap the CD, it freezes and the KERNEL SETUP! not starts.
Above, I paste the console output to show you what I mean:
So, Breaker Pro freezes after reading the SYSTEM.CNF file. With any other emultator, as PCSX, the game starts properly. After this last "argument = " string, the PCSX execute a new KERNEL SETUP!... With Breaker Pro, it seems this not going on...
Only with PSX Emulator, Breaker Pro works correctly. But I think that there is some control of the game that PSX Emulator aborts. I think there is needed of cracking a little bit the EXE file. But I need of some help!
This is the situation.
I wish there is someone who want to help me...
thank you.
