Hi all.. first post.. Just wondering if anyone has tried pSX on jaunty netbook remix? I've got it running brilliantly on hardy with no problem but want to change to UNR.. but only if pSX works Another thing is if theres an action replay sorta thing working yet with pSX? (i'll have a search through though) Thanks

I have no idea about whether it works on that or not, but a good first step would be ensuring that it has everything that pSX needs to run (check the wiki or search around here for the requirements on Linux). If nothing else, you could always just try it, considering Linux is usually pretty good about allowing partitioning and dual-booting. As for Action Replay support, you'll have to use CEP, which can be found (along with discussion about it), here.

Thanks for the reply. It took allot of doing to get psx running right :/ its too much hassle to go ahead unless i'm sure it has any chance of working I'll investigate further or maybe try it on another system.. I'll have to give cep a try! Think i tried it but about a year or two ago with no success.. Thanks for that

If nothing else, the improved directions I made for CEP (and put in that archive) should be enough to get past the basic problems. There's also the occasional problem of codes not working due to a static offset in the memory addresses. I did some testing on this a while back, and while there are ways around it, I couldn't figure out a definite cause for the problem. If you try it again and still can't get it to work after trying everything, feel free to post in that thread with your situation, and I'll do my best to help you through it.

LMAO! Somehow, I just didn't make the connection. I guess I was thinking at the time that the two questions were unrelated (which doesn't make sense, but you know me sometimes... ).

Thanks for the replys again..
Just in case anyone is wondering it DOES work with jaunty. After some trouble with pulse audio it was fine.
At the minute its running slow but if i remember right on this particular pc it allways did (old computer) so am going to give it a go on the laptop!
Thanks again all!
