I have already read that "That means no requests for enhanced scaling." But, bilinear filtering is used when stretching frame buffer to window now. (I have not seen the PS emulator that had such a function. It is nice.) So, I thought about whether resize(interpolation) algorithm was included in this...
Cannot "Lanczos resampling" be mounted for stretch other than Bilinear? It is accurate as well as bilinear, and sharp more.
Sorry for my impudent asking and strange English.

That would be pretty sweet to have. However, Bilinear filtering is used partly because an actual CRT TV uses a similar kind of filtering when playing something like a PS1. So in reality, the bilinear filtering is more "accurate" to the original experience of playing a real PS1 on an actual TV.

If I connect PS1 to LCD TV, I can get better quality than CRT. So I think PS1 emulator does not have to reproduce PS1+CRT. In addition, I feel that PS1+CRT is more beautiful than bilinear. But, I only wanted to know your thought, so I do not request again. Thank you for the answer.

No worries. It's not like the suggestion is garbage, considering the position you come at it from. The PS1 on a CRT *does* have a better look than the bilinear filtering used in pSX. On the other hand, there's the matter of simplicity and not really shooting for the *best* filter to use, but rather something to get the job done.
Perhaps if more filters get added at a later time, this one may be taken into consideration. Though it may take considerably more power to run that type of filter, as opposed to bilinear filtering. If I recall correctly, Lanczos resampling is fairly intensive.

(Probably, I was not able to completely understand your answer...) Thank you for consideration. And, a wonderful emulator that you made it.
