Hi all,
I just installed ubuntu 10.04, and have been trying to get pSX to work. I downloaded and extracted version 1.13, and when I first tried to run ./pSX in the terminal, I got the following error message:
./pSX: error while loading shared libraries: libgtkglext-x11-1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
So, I then searched through my repository, only to find that this exact package is not present (yes, I do have universe and multiverse packages checked in Synaptic). Attached is a picture of what packages are available.
That picture also shows what package I tried installing to fix the problem (before this, none of the packages shown in that picture were installed). After installing, I tried it again, still the same error. Restarted, tried it again, and still the same error.
A few questions: 1) Does this package work for pSX? 2) If not, where can I get the correct package needed?
Thanks a lot, Purkinje.

I'm not a linux person, but as far as I know you should be able to use the search function of the package manager to find and install the right library.

You need at least libgtkglext1 and possibly libgtkglextmm-x11 as well, and even then I cannot guarantee that pSX will work - It really doesn't like PulseAudio.
