And no, it's not because of the DLL, I have that installed and the latest version of DirectX. =P
It simply loads, then closes, with no messages given whatsoever. It loaded the first time I opened it, but never again, and I changed nothing.
Running Windows Media Center Edition if that helps. Anyone else experience this? If so, how was it corrected? Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Fixed topic title.

I assume you mean pSX 1.4? Try deleting the .ini file...

Whoops, yeah. 1.4, sorry. That didn't work, though. It simply reproduced the problem and wrote a new .ini file.

Hmmm...I'd think it would be a problem with the settings, but that's what the .ini file is supposed to be...Yea, I have no clue to help ya either, sorry =(

Maybe when you extracted pSX something got corrupted, try re-extracting it.

Unless he's gone and put the files in to the same folder as the 1.3 that might have something to do with it oh well just a hunch !

I have not overwritten this new version over an old one. 1.4 was my first download of pSX. Also, it ran the first time I opened it. I have since deleted it and re-downloaded it and still, it opens, and immediately closes with no messages or errors given. Deleting the .ini file had no effect as well.

ummm your not clicking the exe file then. your probably clicking on something else.... I am opening the .exe file. A clearer explanation of what happens is that an MS-DOS command window opens very quickly, followed by the emulator's main window very briefly. Both windows then close, no messages given. I'd send a minidump of the log, but I never get the chance to save one.

mmmm no you won't get a minidump of the log because pSX Author has fixed that so it don't do it any more and to me it sound's like your missing a file on your pc unless it's something else mmmm can anybody else think of what it is.

Hmmm, well I'm using the latest DirectX release, and I downloaded the DLL file needed for pSX. What other files might be required to run the program?

Did you check for Viruses, Spyware and Malware? Also is a security application stoping the program?
