First a screenshot of Tactics: And all games I've tested so far (FF7, Chrono Cross, and FF Tactics) have all displayed to me the same thing, cinema scenes do not work. All of them output audio, but the display is black for all of them. I tested Chrono Cross as an ISO and from CD read, same results. Drive is an IDE, pSX is set to AutoDetect. Other than that, 550MHz, XP Pro (rather be using 2k, but DX 9.0c killed my OS), 384 MB RAM. Also, the main dialog likes to drag itself down into my taskbar after I reopen it.

Are your Graphic Card Drivers up to date?
I don't have this problem with my athlon xp 1800 + and Geforce FX 5200.

Are your Graphic Card Drivers up to date? I don't have this problem with my athlon xp 1800 + and Geforce FX 5200. nVidia GeForce 3, driver version 81.95 (I just noticed that 81.98 is up). Fairly up to date, but because of the downloads I have going on already, it'll be two days before I even get to this. As for the processor, no, it's not overclocked.

Updating the video drivers fixed the cinema display issue, however, if you switch from full screen back to windowed while a cinema scene is playing, the image is stilled, but still played (basically, the same problem as before).
I'm kind of curious about something, does pSX use HAL or HEL for the video? To those that don't know what this is, basically, HAL is hardware, and HEL (true to the name) is the software renderer.
