update if anycares:
i managed to bind the wheel to the configuration but since there is no steering wheel option there is no yaw.
meaning if i turn the steering wheel slighty, it will take it as a complete turn, when instead it should read it at the angle that it is turned.
in comparision i play nascar thunder 04 for pc quite often, and you are able to do this. also a ps2 steering wheelhas teh same fuction.
i guess there isnt much demand in getting the steering wheel to work but it would be nice

Surely if you bind it to the analog X axis it will return the right value? I don't have a steering wheel to test...

well it does turn right and left, but ya know you cant immedicatly let go of a wheel and return it to the normal position fast enough. its like the sllgihtest turn in either direction and its like pushing the analog stick all the way.
like the wheels on the cars should turn at the same degree the wheel does. ya know .. smooth
