One or both of you will have to be my test subjects for this. See, I don't have access to a PS3 anymore, but I'm starting to think that won't matter (the PS3 can convert saves from PSP to PS3 format). Normally I've done that via transferring the saves from PSP to PS3, but if my guess is right, transferring from a USB drive (flash drive, hard drive, etc) to the PS3 should still do the trick.
I'll convert those saves a little later tonight, and I'd like both of you (if possible) to give that a shot, and let me know if it works.

Sorry it's taking so long. I haven't had a lot of free-time the last couple days, and I'm still trying to figure out where my USB cord is for my PSP. One of the reasons I hate moving... half my stuff gets "lost" after the move... lol.

Hey, could you convert the linked .mcs file to the PS3 format. I don't need any regional conversion but it's US region if you need that info. It's a Final Fantasy VII save with about 25 hours on it. rapidshare.com/files/244613094/BASCUS-94163FF7-S01.mcs.htmlI don't have a PSP but I could probably wrangle one if necessary to get the file into the PS3 format. I'd love to hear if it works strait from the USB drive for marriej & seulunga. |

Hi there. I came across this site while searching google for a way to convert .mcr to .psv (The PS3 virtual memory card) and was hoping you could do the conversion. Sorry it's been a while. Though I suppose it's good (more money... lol).
Unfortunately... I can't find *either* cord for my PSP (USB or power). The USB cord isn't technically a big deal anyway (I have a memory card slots on my PC), but it had a charger split on it too, which would've been nice to have since I can't find my power cord.
I guess that means that until I find or replace it, PSP and PS3 conversions are disabled again. At least converting *to* those formats is... converting *from* PSP/PS3 to other formats doesn't require those units of course.

psp usb cable is just a normal usb to mini usb cable right? I'm practicly swimming in those, haha the irony ^^

I need these raw PSX saves converted to an .mcr file that can be loaded onto my PSP with CWcheat. I've tried PSXRC, PSXMC2PSP, and MemCardRex. PSXRC couldn't convert them period. PSXMC2PSP and MemCardRex made saves that failed to load in ePSXe and on my PSP, and my that I mean the game said "Load Failed." I'm at the end of my rope. You're my last resort. I need your help.
