Ok, there are three major bios out there: For USA games: SCPH1001 For JAP games: SCPH7000 For PAL games: SCPH7502 How important is it to use the correct bios with a game? Like, I tested Ultima Underworld, which is a NTSC-J game, with SCPH1001. I tested X-Com: Enemy Unknown, a PAL game, with SCPH1001 and SCPH7502. No problems with any of that. So, can anybody that knows a bit about this explain the importance of this?

My guess is (author can deny or confim it ) than "the correct bios" is most tested one and emulator is made most compatible with. Other bioses are usually ps1-compatible, so most of them should work. PAL-games do work with this emulator (with or without euro-bios) .. some games happen to have copying protection developed to euroversion. FF8, FF9 and Legend of dragoon are some examples of games which do not run easilly with modified hardware (and for game emulator is counted as hardware) those games might allso check bios to be euro-bios.
