I looked at the other forums, and I can say my thread/post would be more appropriate in this forum. I know there is already a thread that someone thanked the team in, however I wanted to say it in my words and was afraid my post wouldn't of been seen if posted in someone else's thread. Plus I don't like to hijack others threads. I just wanted to say thanks, that I appreciate the effort you (pSXAuthor) and others have done to create such an excellent emulator. I wanted to say your efforts are not going unnoticed and that you have a lot of support and people cheering you on. This is my next favorite emulator besides epsxe, and makes it much easier to play my games while chatting, posting in a forum or for a quick gaming fix while writing/typing a paper as it can be run in a window. It all makes it so much easier than playing on my console, where I would have to get up, walk and sit down at the console, then get back up, walk to and sit back down at the computer. It's great people like you all that keep the nostalgia alive and still give a reason to play the many great classics out there to buy today. Thank you To TheCloudOfSmoke: Hi CloudOfSmoke, I see you are an Admin on these forums. So how is everything bud? I didn't know you were an admin here until I followed a link someone posted on Ngemu to these forums, as I don't remember you saying you were an admin here at Ngemu. Yes I used the same screen name here as I use at Ngemu. It's sort of became a habit to use Xtreme2damax as a screen name now, rather than my actual nickname muffinhead

Welcome to the forum. I thought everyone over at NGemu knew I was here with the since I was up for fanboy of the year for pSX in the fanboy thread a couple months back. Back on topic, pSX Author is God. As a matter of fact, pSX got me back into PlayStation emulation again. A few years ago when I was a noob (not much less different than how I am now ), I first tried out the popular emulator ePSXe, I was completely stumped and I gave up on PlayStation emulation since there was no real good alternative at the time that was any easier to use. So for a long time I just left the PlayStation emulators alone because I really haven't heard of any new PS emulators in the scene. It wasn't until last year when I discovered pSX. I wasn't going to try it at first because I was skeptical. I thought that it would be the same confusing crap that was in ePSXe but I gave it a try anyways because I had nothing else to do. I couldn't believe that I could play PlayStation games on my computer without all of the bull that I had to deal with in the other emulators before it! Ever since then, I been using pSX faithfully. Now, since I learned a lot by hanging around the PS emulation scene, I understand how to configure the other emulators that first discouraged from the PSX scene, but why would I want to do that since there's pSX? I would also like to say thanks to pSX Author! It keeps getting better and better!

Who need plug-ins anyway when pSX doesn't need any?
Thinks to pSX Author for not adding plug-ins support.

Thanks CloudOfSmoke for the nice welcome, I really appreciate it. You guys have a Nice little forum here. Is this forum hosted on a free forum host? I couldn't help but see the proboards54 in the url at the end. The pSX emulator is quite nice. I noticed whereas epsxe has graphical glitches during FMV's in Resident Evil 2, pSX plays most games flawlessly, in fact it plays most of them so flawlessly that it actually feels as if I'm playing on on my Playstation, except on my computer monitor. Well see everyone later, I'll post back again another day. For now I'm off to play some games

Thank You. Hey Ultima, could of swore I've seen you on Emutalk or another forum. Are you an Admin or Moderator at Emutalk as well? I know I said I wouldn't post back until another day, but for the last year I've become a major forum junkie

Hey Ultima, are you a moderator at the utorrent Forums, or is that another person under the Screen Name Ultima? I was trying to remember where I saw an Ultima at that was a Moderator, and I revisited the utorrent forum again today and lo and behold there was an Ultima Sorry about the Double Post Btw.

The posting style is easily similar enough for it to be the same person. I'm willing to vote that it's certainly possible. I'm an Azureus user myself... it's always been good to me, compared to other programs (except for a few minor hitches with its interaction with my router... till I simply decided to connect my computer through USB and connect the 360 through ethernet). And if he's also ultima528 at the Emuforums, then I'd almost guarantee he's the one at uTorrent... because the few things that I found questionable at uTorrent are things that ultima528 at Emuforums does, and the style there is closely connected to here also. Basically, I look at it as pSX Forums -> Emuforums -> uTorrent... and following that line, I'd say that all three are the same person... I actually noticed quite a few of the regulars here post at NGEmu... though not nearly as much as here... at least in the pSX forum there. LOL... I should probably actually *welcome* you to the forums here, xtreme2damax, since I'm going off on these mini-rants in your thread. I hope you enjoy this emulator as much as we all do, as it truly is a great emulator, and I think it'll end up being the greatest PS1 emulator ever made, not to mention what awaits pSX after *that* achievement is made...

µTorrent is also my choice (1.6 anyway), and I'm also a member in the µTorrent forums. I have like 5 posts or something. I think my username in there is Herra, as it used to be here.
