Its back up now - the downtime was due to some work that had to be done at the datacentre.

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS...Alrighty, just finished the game. 56 hours is quite an impressive count for a Zelda game, for me atleast. I think I got pretty much everything aside from the Poes, which I have about 46 of the total 60 I think. I'm not much of a review writer, so I'll just say that it was truly legendary. Heh - me too - I didn't get all of the Poes either, or complete the cave of ordeals - although I did get to the last floor (three armour knights are just about impossible to beat using the wiimote). I think I did just about everything else though... took me about 68hrs. There is an item you can get that allows you to call Epona anywhere (can't remember now if it was a side-quest or part of the main quest). Yeah - I found this annoying too, but as the prize for completing one of the side-quests (collecting all insects) you can get a wallet that holds 1000. Also, you can use the magic armour to "waste" some money. Agreed - TP is one of the best games I have ever played. It definately lived up to the hype and is a worthy successor to OOT and the other Zelda games. Can't wait for the next installment now ;p

Yep, this game is awesome.. I order everyone to play it at once ;p I got the wii version and its definately very nice (even though it is really a GC game) - it looks absolutely amazing for a GC game. I just wish I had more time to play it

hehe - is that a hint? Seriously though: pSX v1.9 is coming but I've been very busy with work recently and when I've had spare time I haven't really felt much like doing anything major - the last couple of weekends I spent a lot of time finishing DW7 I have been making progress though, so don't worry ;p

Some of my favourites are: Xenogears (PS1), Chrono Trigger (SNES), Chrono Cross (PS1), Tales of Phantasia (SNES), Lunar 1&2 (PS1), Breath of fire 1&2 (SNES), Breath of fire 3&4 (PS1), Star Ocean 2 (PS1), Dragon Warrior 7 (PS1), Arc the Lad 1-3 (PS1). I like most RPGs though to be honest

Random notes on the Pocketstation: The Pocketstation uses an ARM7 processor (reportedly ARM7TDMI); I haven't been able to get the speed, but it's said to be variable and code-controllable.) Saves on the pocketstation are treated as per usual unless they have both the extended header-- which I will digress on for a moment. The extended header, which contains additional information in the 24 bytes of blank space normally untouched in a save header, has one of two possible "type" flags. Type "CRD0" is a normal PSX save that just happens to have Pocketstation icons for the LCD display-- these are not shown on the PSX, obviously. "MCX0" is a Pocketstation binary. It requires one additional thing in order to appear on the Pocketstation's menu system as a game. That is a properly formatted game ID name. Normal PSX saves are in the format of BASLUS-00690, for the example of the US 'G Darius' game. Using an incorrect (G Darius doesn't have Pocketstation support) example, a Pocketstation "game executable" for G Darius would have the save name of BASLUSP00690 with a 'P' replacing the '-' character. Anyone interested enough for me to keep digging on this stuff? None of this info is really relevant to emulation (except the CPU type - which I already know!)... what is needed for emulation is info about the actual hardware (registers, comms protocol, etc..)

imo Chrono Cross is one of the best RPGs on Playstation. It doesn't have the best battle system, but it has really great atmosphere. I never grow tired of playing Chrono Cross. I really hope Square decide to do another game in the series one day... but if they do I really hope they get Masato Kato and Yasunori Mitsuda to work on it.. wouldn't be the same without them. Yasunori Mitsuda is doing a Chrono Cross arrange album later this year which is something to look forward to at least
