But don't you think PSPro is too close to PSEmuPro?
And how would you pronounce ps.fire?
ps-dot-fire just sounds lame imo.

Nah... PSPro is just fine. Isn't "psxe" a little close to "epsxe", or "pSX" to "psxe"? Lots of emulators have names similar to other ones. Those two examples are closer than "PSEmuPro" to "PSPro" or "PSXPro". So I think it'll be fine.
And I figured that ps.fire would just be pronounced by its words (not mentioning the period at all). Reminds me of Ness...

PSXPro looks and sounds better than PSPro. I guess the "X" gives it a little more edge. LOL. By having PSXPro, the emulator will still retain the PSX part of the original name but also dump off the generic "emulator" part of the name. It's the best of both worlds. I think all of this is a good idea but most likely pSX Author won't respond to this thread .

Well, if he ever decides to change the name, I hope he likes "PSXPro", as that is my favorite and the overall hit around here. But of course, I'm not expecting anything...

pSEX, huh? Hehe... Maybe even pSXPro, so it'd really keep the original name...

Could imitate the model # instead of the system name/acronym/not-really-acronym-but-everyone-uses-it-anyways.
SCPH-Infinity, maybe?
