Can this also convert the memory card of one emulator to pSX? Cause I started this one game with another emulator and I was at the middle part of the game (It was really crappy so I stopped playing), and when I finally have the pSX emulator, it seems that I have to start the game all over again... does this help me?

pSX will recognise and use the memory card formats most other Playstation Emulators use, marxmann05. So will ePSXe, for that matter, if you change the type of file it's looking for from .mcr (AIR) to All files. It's just that pSX doesn't require the memory card files to have a particular file extension.

This is very useful when you get games with sections that won't run in pSX: you can make a memory card save, load it in, say, ePSXe if that will play the problem section, play through it, save back to the memory card and go back to pSX. And, yes, you should be able to transport your half-played games to pSX that easily.

hey im new here.i 've been readin through this post, and i noticed someone had the same problem as me. im currently using psxfin v1.13 and playing valkyrie profile. i reached a recruiting scene where the game keeps jamming,and through other forums i realised that i could play that part in epsxe and transfer it back. as i've been using save states in psxfin, i tried using the memory card 2 save but
'an error occured while accessing memory card data.processing interrupted' keeps showing up.and i tried formatting the memory card which did not work as well

could anyone advise me on what to do 2 get the memory card working?

Have you double-checked to make sure the memory card still works in pSX? And while I don't think ePSXe would reject a card simply because of its extension... What extension does your memory card file have?

Have you tried loading the save from slot 2 (unlikely solution, but might as well try). If all that fails, please upload the card so I can take a look at it (or somebody else if they get to it first).

im actually trying to save using mem card in my psxfin so that i can transfer over to epsxe to play past that jamming part. i took the memcard from the epsxe and placed it in the psxfin folder. the file name is 'epsxe000.mcr' . i have also tried using the second memory card slot which gave the same error.

im sry but could you teach me how to upload a file here? sry for all the trouble as im new to using forums.

Oh, now I see what the problem is (I was very tired last night). Unfortunately, there isn't much of anything you can do. This is a classic case of the save becoming corrupted due to using save states for too long, and Valkyrie Profile is a known offender of this problem.

The only thing you can really do is start over and use memory cards from the beginning. With Valkyrie Profile specifically, you have to pretty much be saving from the beginning of the game (first save point), or it'll never let you save.
