First of all, which version of the game are you using? Second, could you please reduce the size of that image?

Using the US game disc (SLUS_015.41), I have not encountered any problems whatsoever. So either you're using a different version, or something else is wrong.

Ahh... just a sec, then. I'll test that out too. Still haven't said which version of the game you're using...

Sorry... it's a little late, and I just got off a long run of modifying code for my frontend, so I'm a little tired.

Well, I just reproduced your problem, so it's definitely not your fault. Now I will see if I can fix it...
Edit: Well, I can't seem to make it *not* happen with a mounted image, but it also doesn't seem to be causing any gameplay problems, so I guess I'd say just ignore it.

Yeah, but in that thread, I was the first person to successfully test and prove that the problem was indeed yours and not a problem with the game or emulator.
Besides, that incident was with an older version, using cue/bin images instead of ccd/img/sub as you're reporting now, and there was no mention of mounting. You even said yourself at the time that switching to ccd/img/sub fixed your problem.
So now... it is time to figure out why this has happened now.

here ive just made another test: pSX 1.8 scph1001.bin Final Fantasy Origins ( SLES_040.34) ccd image Alcohol 120%, latest version in this case, either if i " insert CD image", or " insert CD drive", no problem occur in the console window: so it seems that the problem (error messages in the console window) occur only using the NTSC version ( SLUS_015.41) starting by " insert CD drive". just another check: both ccd images present " supposedly good" read errors on the same file: p.s. the other read errors u can notice on the NTSC image r harmless, because dont affect any other files.Ultima: Thumbnail-ized...

In other words, we're talking about MULTIPLE pirated image here, right?

@don Meu/meude: This isn't even the same problem, so I don't see what you're trying to prove here. The issue you have here has to do with subcode reading, the other one had to do with cuebin issues (which doesn't even contain subcode anyway). You even said yourself in the other thread that a CCD image did not produce that error, so are you trying to say that you were wrong in that thread, along with everyone else? Additionally, we said multiple times that "errors" in images don't necessarily mean much, as some CDs are made that way intentionally by the publishers/developers, so bringing up the sector read error issue in Nero CD-DVD Speed again is rather pointless. When psicomaniaco said there was no error, he was saying that there was no problem with the image, regardless of what Nero CD-DVD Speed said. Granted, his response was a bit over-the-top, but that's done and over with now. Stop insulting people or warnings/bans/administrative action will go flying. This applies to anyone else who wants to start insulting as well, so consider yourselves warned.

Do the read errors affect the game? If not you may just have to ignore them. Some CD drives cannot read track gap sectors (which contain all 0s) - my drive can't either... the problem is that pSX's cd driver prefetches the CD and sometimes that means it will cross into a gap area - it is harmless except for the annoying error messages.
If the game doesn't hang just ignore them...
