Here's a small video of Burning Road (using US Remix music; the default setting). I dropped the video quality way down and did the audio in 128, because the only thing I really noticed was the lack of audio tracks when playing in pSX Emulator. It'll probably work dandy whenever Wipeout 3 starts working, too In an earlier build of pSX Emulator, the wrong audio tracks would play, but now no audio tracks play.

I'm going to put together a detailed report but for now:
The emu doesn't crash anymore if I try to configure the joypad as analog+rumble, the program recognizes everything but the pad still refuses to work with anything but the normal mode.
Some problems with the sounds are improved but there are still imperfections. For example some sounds in Vagrant Story (like the steps) aren't correct and in Xenogears, right after the movie, there are missing sounds (you should hear the sounds of the battle, like the lasers).
The aspect ratio is still incorrect in some games, Metal Gear Solid in PAL version cuts the image at the bottom and Dragon Warrior 7 is stretched horizontally.
Still in DW7 the interface is not shadowed correctly and the windows overlap on each other.

good to see that the PSX-emu scene is not dead but to the point of the post, i would really like to se hq2x support and either 7-zip , regular zip or rar support for cd-images. and some heavy command line support so it easy could be run from a HTPC frontendt like f eks Meedio or Mediaportal

hi i downloaded the new release and gave it a little test. i used a bin cue file i'd created from the PAL version of spider-man 2 enter electro. on version 1.2 it played with some corrupted sounds and graphical glitches. in the new version those problems seem to be gone but it seems to go back to the opening movie after a short while. you get stuck in a loop of in game cinematic begins then cg intro restarts. the game used a similar engine to the tony hawk games and i think i read you made changes based on problems with one of those games so that might be related.
anyway i'd just like to say this has quickly become my favorite PS emulator. the acurate emulation of the GS makes a big difference.

For example some sounds in Vagrant Story (like the steps) aren't correct and in Xenogears, right after the movie, there are missing sounds (you should hear the sounds of the battle, like the lasers). Recordings of these from a real PS1/2 would be useful... I don't think there are sounds after the Xenogears movie though - it just plays music and prints text for about 2 or 3 minutes....

i wonder if this emulator will one day be capable of running ps2 games that would be nice since pcsx2 hasn't been updated in almost a year and it sucks
There is an option to load a ps2 bios -2 switch
